A national voting session was held for fans to vote on their favorite of the two flavors. The winner of DEWcision 2016 was to be made the next permanent Dew flavor on store shelves. In 2016, PepsiCo held DEWcision 2016, a promotion which pitted Pitch Black, returning to store shelves, against Baja Blast, another cult-classic Dew flavor.
